39001 Service Boots / Domestic Tyche™ Oil Tanned Cowhide MTO

Based on U.S. military officers’ boots from the 1940s during World War II, this style features a simple construction in which the heel counter and backstay form a single piece, unlike later, more modern boots that use two separate components. The last has also been refined to create a slimmer silhouette with a slightly pointed toe. The boots are finished using stitchdown construction with two rows of outsole stitching.

Main features of our boots:
1. Solid construction -
The 39003 model adopts an authentic stitch-down construction with double-row outsole stitching. This method is commonly seen in North American boot brands such as Wesco, White’s, Nicks Boots.

2. Genuine materials throughout -
Leather lined vamp, leather midsole, and stacked leather heel. For comparison, some Red Wing models attach the welt directly to the outsole without a midsole structure, and may use plastic heels or midsoles and fabric linings. I personally experienced a cracked plastic heel on my RW 2268 engineer boots.
