Main features of our boots:
1. The US1002 model adopts an authentic leather welted Goodyear construction.

2. Built with genuine materials throughout
Full leather lined vamp, leather midsole, and leather heel insert. For comparison, some Red Wing models attach the welt directly to the outsole without a midsole structure, and use plastic heels or midsoles and fabric lining materials. I personally experienced a cracked plastic heel on my RW 2268 engineer boots.
